I’ve never really paid attention to tablets, because why need one of those if you have a mobile phone for on-the-go and a PC or laptop for when at home?! But then, I realised what a valuable piece of technology a tablet is and how it actually bridges the gap between both a mobile phone and PC/laptop, so I got my hands on an iPad Mini 4!
The iPad Mini 4 comes with a 7.9″ LED-backlit touch-sensitive display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution making everything look clearer and sharper. It also features an 8MP rear camera and 1.2MP front camera, as well as a dual core processor. It’s available in three colours (space grey, silver and gold) and comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB & 128GB of data storage with a respective price increase. The battery also lasts a good deal (apparently 10 hours via Wi-Fi or 9 hours via cellular data) and it’s also quite light, compact and robust to carry around.
On the other hand, some may find it expensive to buy this model compared to competitor ones for a few reasons. Firstly, there’s no flash on this model, so taking pictures in poorly-lit areas may be a cause for concern. Secondly, there’s no memory card slot for additional storage space and finally the rotation lock switch has vanished. However, the pros outweigh the cons and it’s an excellent little tablet with impressive qualities, so it’s well worth the price tag.
Until next time.
